Responsibilities

  • Implement, test, and validate backup and restore procedures for Core Network elements.
  • Deploy, test, and validate network solutions and system changes.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in production environments.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities.
  • Investigate network performance issues and implement improvements.
  • Support incident management and service restoration.
  • Collaborate with engineering, field operations, and project teams.
  • Participate in customer meetings and provide technical recommendations.
  • Execute security, audit, compliance, and reporting activities.
  • Prioritize operational tasks and ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in after-hours support and on-call activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT and/or Telecommunications industry.
  • Good understanding of LTE and 5G Core network architecture and topology.
  • Knowledge of EPC network elements (MME, HSS, SGW, PGW, PCRF/SAPC, UDC/CUDB, DNS/IP Works).
  • Understanding of IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols (ISIS, OSPF, BGP).
  • Familiarity with telecommunications protocols (S1AP, SCTP, GTP, Diameter, LDAP).
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line administration.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications.
  • Experience working with networking platforms from Ericsson, Cisco, Juniper, or similar vendors.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of 5G Core network functions is an advantage.
  • Basic scripting or automation skills using Shell, Python, or similar languages are desirable.
  • Exposure to F5 Load Balancers, firewalls, and IP security technologies is an advantage.
  • Understanding of Ericsson eNodeB, gNodeB, or Mini-Link platforms is preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or RHCSA are considered an advantage.
