Responsibilities

  • Lead contract management teams across large projects and accounts.
  • Understand client needs, priorities, account strategy, objectives, and opportunities.
  • Develop contract management staff and support performance management.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve commercial and contract risks and issues.
  • Engage in pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, and negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes.
  • Provide contract drafting support.
  • Act as a client-facing professional building trusted relationships with client counterparts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a contract manager with exposure to complex deals.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Experience and demonstrated capability in conducting and supervising investigations (compliance-related, employment, governmental).
  • In-depth knowledge of local ethical/conduct/compliance-related risks, employee rights and obligations, and related laws.
  • Extensive experience in employee relations and workplace investigations.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with client executives at all levels.
  • Capability to support discussions to influence key commercial and contracting decisions.
  • Significant understanding of commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and commercial contracting terms and conditions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Membership of World Commerce and Contracting (previously International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM)) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
  • Professional certification considered a plus.
