Responsibilities

  • Clarify contract terms and provide customer updates and support.
  • Suggest improvements to service delivery and build strong customer relationships.
  • Support the preparation, review, and signing of customer contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms by both Tetra Pak and the customer.
  • Maintain organized and updated contract documents in the system.
  • Assist internal teams in understanding contract responsibilities and timelines.
  • Help with pricing and payment terms in customer contracts.
  • Ensure commercial agreements follow company policies and Japanese law.
  • Work with finance and legal teams to manage risks and resolve contract issues.
  • Investigate customer claims related to product quality, delivery, or service.
  • Collaborate with technical, supply chain, and legal teams to find claim resolutions.
  • Maintain clear records of claims and follow up until resolved.
  • Track and report key data such as number of claims, resolution time, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare summaries and presentations for management.
  • Support audits and internal reviews with accurate records.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical service, supply chain, and legal teams.
  • Share best practices with colleagues globally.
  • Participate in regional meetings to align on processes and improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in customer service, contract management, or commercial operations.
  • Working knowledge of the Japanese Civil Code, Commercial Code, and standard Japanese contract practices.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial sectors preferred.
  • Experience working in international or cross-cultural settings.
  • Experience reviewing contracts under guidance from a legal department in a multinational company preferred.

Desired Qualifications

  • Korean (spoken and written) is helpful but not required.
  • Familiarity with contract management systems is a plus.
