Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain automation solutions using Python.
  • Create tools to automate operational, engineering, and software delivery activities.
  • Develop scripts, APIs, integrations, and workflows.
  • Assist in developing AI-enabled workflows and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Explore practical uses of Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support software upgrade and deployment activities across customer networks.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to improve automated recovery capabilities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
  • Create technical documentation and user guides.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, capstone projects, or personal projects.
  • Foundational understanding of software development principles and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience with Python programming through coursework, internships, research, or independent projects.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative technical environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, Git, code review, unit testing.
  • Experience with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, workflow orchestration, infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with SQL, databases, data visualization, reporting tools, data analysis, operational metrics.
  • Experience with Prompt engineering, LLM-based applications, AI-assisted development tools, machine learning fundamentals, agentic AI concepts.
  • Experience with Linux, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Experience with Wireless communications, LTE, 5G, network management, telecom software systems, O&M, configuration and troubleshooting.
