Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and creative AR/VR Development Intern to join our innovative team at ABB. This is a full-time, on-site internship opportunity located in Baghlān, Baghlan, Afghanistan. As an intern, you will play a vital role in developing cutting-edge augmented and virtual reality experiences. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a rapidly evolving field and contribute to real-world projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of AR/VR applications using Unity and Unreal Engine.
• Create and optimize 3D models for use in AR/VR environments.
• Implement spatial computing algorithms and techniques.
• Design and implement intuitive user interactions within AR/VR experiences.
• Optimize AR/VR applications for performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AR/VR development.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new AR/VR concepts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AR/VR.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A strong passion for augmented and virtual reality technologies.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Experience with 3D modeling software.
• Familiarity with ARCore and ARKit.
• Understanding of VR hardware and its capabilities.
• Knowledge of spatial computing concepts.
• Experience with user interaction design principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
