We are seeking a Staff Engineer in Applications Engineering (Simulation) with expertise in electromagnetics and high-frequency domains. You will lead technical activities in sales cycles, provide solutions for signal and power integrity, and act as a product expert for Ansys tools. This role requires 4-7 years of experience and a Master's or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist in coordinating technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
  • Provide best-in-class solutions involving PCB/Package/Advance Packaging/system interactions for signal and power integrity flow collaborating across regions and functions.
  • Participate in external and internal events to enhance SI/PI simulation solutions and contribute to professional growth and marketing efforts.
  • Act as a product expert for Ansys products, engaging with customers to understand their design needs and workflows, highlighting Ansys’ value proposition.
  • Work closely with product development teams to translate customer requirements into innovative product features and test new releases on industrial problems.
  • Deliver consulting services and conduct introductory or intermediate training classes to empower customers and colleagues.

Requirements

  • MS/PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with specialization in electromagnetics.
  • 4–7 years of experience in the high-frequency domain, using simulation tools for real-world applications.
  • Expertise with Ansys HFSS, SIwave, Q3D Extractor, or comparable industry simulation software.
  • Familiarity with SI, PI, RF and Microwave concepts. Basic-intermediate level of understanding of signal and power integrity.
  • Ability to research, debug, and resolve software-related issues efficiently.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience building automation workflows for RF/Signal/Power Integrity/EMC simulation flows.
  • Knowledge of commercial packages such as ADS, MATLAB, Python, and CST.
  • Measurement & Lab Skills, Analysis and Problem-Solving skills, Hardware / System Knowledge.
