We are seeking a Staff Engineer for Applications Engineering, specializing in DFT (Design for Test). This role involves collaborating with customers, providing technical expertise on DFT methodologies and tools, and supporting ASIC design flows. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in ASIC DFT design.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to evaluate methodologies and flows, providing insights to the test product business unit.
  • Participate in customer design and flow reviews, consulting on test solutions including memory/SCAN testing, DFT IP insertion, pattern generation, and validation.
  • Provide technical support and expertise for customers using Synopsys Test Automation tools.
  • Work closely with solution architects and R&D teams to align with customer requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Communicate effectively in English to support and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in DFT methodologies and tools.

Requirements

  • BE/ME, Btech/Mtech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on work experience in ASIC DFT design.
  • Strong knowledge of various DFT methodologies, industrial standards, and practices.
  • Experience with industry-standard DFT tools, simulators, and waveform debug tools.
  • Hands-on experience with DFT circuit insertion, pattern generation, and validation.
  • Strong understanding of chip design, DFT principles, Verilog/System Verilog, and STA.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of DDR/LPDDR is a plus.
