Responsibilities
- Lead accounting activities and transactions across all areas of the entity.
- Oversee processes performed by Shared Service Centers in multiple locations.
- Act as a key accounting advisor, supporting new business setups and assessing financial impacts.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Own the full closing and reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to headquarters.
- Investigate accounting discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve KPIs related to general accounting, closing, and reporting processes.
- Interface directly with external auditors and consultants.
- Prepare and present financial results for senior management, including ad-hoc analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5-8 years of accounting or relevant finance experience
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP with experience in complex transactions
- Self-driven, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Collaborative team player with strong ownership mindset
- Proactive can-do attitude
