How will you make an impact in this role?
The incumbent would be part of the Commercial Data Science & Model Integration team reporting into the Manager - Commercial Collections and Credit Data Science, key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Commercial Collections and Credit Data science practices to drive model usage and tackle business opportunities through model enhancements
- Innovate modeling techniques and variable creation
- Incorporate new data intelligence from consumer, commercial bureau & internal datasets into commercial credit risk models
- Conduct AI/ML research to explore opportunities in order to elevate model excellence and drive business impact
- Review customer cases to identify new model/variable opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning or related fields
- Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/ Engineering/Management from Top Tier Institutes
Functional Skills/Capabilities
- Proficiency & experience in econometric, statistical, analytical and ML techniques
- Proficiency in ML languages (Python; PySpark) and SQL/Hive
- Ability to drive project deliverables to achieve business results
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with complex, unstructured initiative
