Responsibilities:

  • Write, maintain, and execute test cases for studio games on mobile (Android) covering a wide range of devices.
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing of mobile applications, including network data and logs.
  • Work closely with the scrum team, producers, and QA lead/manager to ensure that game submissions meet high-quality standards.
  • Actively communicate with developers and business stakeholders to conduct defect triage and reduce defect age.
  • Have a detailed understanding of studio games, including various corner cases.
  • Prepare test documentation to improve the quality of the application.

Skills & Requirements:

  • 0-1 year of experience in gaming/software testing (internship or relevant coursework)
  • Passionate about gaming and must enjoy playing AAA games.
  • Familiarity with gaming domains such as Battle Royale, Racing, and Shooter games (preferred).
  • Understanding of Mobile Platforms & Standards from a QA perspective.
  • Experience in test design and execution techniques.
  • Knowledge about tools such as Charles Proxy, DDMS, ADB, Firebug, Fiddler, Jira, Test Rail, or similar.
  • Ability to write QA documentation, including test cases, training materials, and test plans.
  • Good exploratory testing skills and the ability to apply the right level of testing approach.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
