TITLE: Junior Associate Software Engineer (Analyst)

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Junior Associate Software Engineer is responsible for designing, coding, and/or configuring features for products in an Agile-based team environment, as well as debugging and resolving low to moderate software bugs or issues.

  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs, codes, and/or configures features and bugfixes, with direction from a more senior software engineer as required. 
  • Designs, codes, and/or configures solutions for low complexity Agile stories with close direction from a more senior software engineer. 
  • Debugs and resolves low to moderate complexity software bugs or issues, with close direction from more senior software engineers, and finds the real root cause and provides a fix without collateral damage.  
  • Writes test automation scripts to test features, bug fixes and DevOps scenarios.
  • Performs basic source code management tasks at the direction of more senior software engineers. 
  • Follows development standards and effectively demonstrates technical solutions to other software engineers in code reviews.

 

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology (B.E. /B.Tech), or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering with a CGPA of 7.5 or higher (equivalent to 70% or more)
  • Total Work Experience: No experience required, and up to one year of experience. Previous internships preferred
  • Industry certificate bootcamp experiences (preferred) 
  • Understand object-oriented design and coding in Java, C# or Python 
  • Exposure to XML/JSON, and front-end development (e.g. JavaScript, HTML5) or equivalent
  • Understand cloud-based software development concepts and methods (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Ability to manage deadlines, communicate in a team, and operate independently with guidance
    • Location: Candidate must reside in India 
    • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in India
    • Start Date: The position is set to commence on January 6, 2025, without exception
    • Availability: Physical presence in our Mumbai office is required for the first two weeks, starting from January 6, 2025, for program kickoff and in-person training
