About the team

WPAP platform provides Treasury & FX services, Payout and and payin capability to its merchants.
WPAP processes transactions that are not initiated by standard payment methods i.e., credit/debit cards, but instead processes transactions through numerous different types of alternative payment methods (APMs) like Bankouts, Payins, OpenBanking etc. WPAP currently offers approximately 86 Alternative Payment Methods.
                          

What you will do:

  • Manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Perform detailed investigation and debugging of complex issues on Linux systems.
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate tasks and processes.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Docker containers and related infrastructure.
  • Utilize VMware for virtualization management and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in Linux administration and related tools.


    What you bring:
  • 6-10 years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong experience in investigating and debugging Linux systems.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and VMware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Good to have Skills:

  • Knowledge of additional scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.).
  • Experience with other CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
