Roles/Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to help solve business problems
  • Write high quality distributed system software
  • Work closely with architects and technical product managers to translate overall system architecture and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software components.
  • Take ownership of the implementation of individual software components, with high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices
  • Participate in software design reviews, you conduct peer code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team.
  • Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
  • Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all the team deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 0+ years of professional software development experience with history of technical innovation
  • 0+ years of experience with building scalable, distributed systems using modern frameworks such as AWS, Azure or GCP

Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum  Oracle and Digital Cockpit expert  Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory.  Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)  Daily Shortage root cause investigation and resolution  Partner closely with suppliers focusing on: Packaging needs, min/max planning, materials replenishment planning, root-cause problem solving,  Conduct daily walks on the floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material receiving issues.  Support material transfers, supplier reviews w/Sourcing.  Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material.  Soft Skills:   Working knowledge of MRP / Oracle /SAP knowledge will be added advantage.  Excellent Communication Skills  Strong problem-solving skills  Required Qualifications Qualified to Degree level in Mechanical/ Electronics/Electrical engineering.
