Key responsibilities of the role:

Play a leading role in the testing of system release candidates to ensure that changes to the production system are stable and accurate. Clear and appropriate communication with multiple stakeholders, including Application Support, Group Risk and other technology and business teams. Establishing test cases, automating test cases, investigating and explaining differences from expected behaviour.

 

Skills

Business

  • Knowledge of capital markets and financial risk management (market and/or credit risk), clearing and margining concepts
  • Experience with Scrum and the use of Jira & writing test cases using Zephyr. Experience working with cross-functional technology teams to deliver projects using agile methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in testing including test planning and execution of Functional, SIT, UAT and Regression tests

Technical

  • Experience of databases, particularly Oracle
  • Competent SQL (or PL/SQL).
  • Experience in using UNIX
  • Experience in test automation approaches including technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, and some Python.
  • Some Experience using tooling such as Jenkins, Bitbucket and Ansible
