JOB DESCRIPTION

The Financial Research (FinRes) group provides research and analysis support to the entire investment life cycle of the firm’s global proprietary trading strategies. The group caters to almost all the quantitative and qualitative strategies of the firm and its research support covers multiple asset classes, sectors, and geographies.

What you’ll do day-to-day

In this role, you’ll be expected to support fundamental research teams by conducting data and information research, summarize industry/company conference calls, and prepare quarterly earnings reports. You’ll be responsible for supporting the firm’s traders/analysts on critical and time-sensitive recurring tasks that are data-intensive in nature. You’ll be expected to build and manage large financial data sets and perform exception analysis. You’ll also have to liaise with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and collaborate with the in-house technology team for automating processes to achieve optimal efficiency.

  • The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in any stream, with six to eighteen months of post-qualification experience
  • Candidate should have at least intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
