The Role-  

As a product manager within the Data Tribe, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing product and technology solutions that drive our strategic goals. In this role you will work closely with colleagues in the tribe and across other tribes to help manage demand. The role will require you to liaise with our stakeholders to understand their needs and translate into prioritised requirements for our internal and external squads.

Responsibilities:

  • To have a good understanding of customer needs, market dynamics and commercial realities in Data and Privacy domain.
  • Work closely with senior product leads to develop overall product vision and strategy and Articulate the agreed product vision effectively. Create product artefacts (product definitions, Epics, Stories etc)
  • Being responsible for the successful delivery of your product, ensuring that it meets the success criteria of your stakeholders and has high adoption/satisfaction. 
  • Partnering with the Tech Lead to ensure alignment of product and technical vision and requirements.
  • Working in collaboration with other squads, business functions, programme management and third party vendors to agree, align, sequence and re-plan work in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Writing acceptance criteria for user stories and ensuring that user stories meet thE Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
  • Work with PME/DM to contribute to roadmaps and prepare for launches/changes. Track, monitor and communicate the plans. 
  • Identify risks, blockers and issues and obtain guidance on how to resolve them with Engineering, Tech and Data governance, Privacy, Risk and Controls member.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the customer point of view and pain points driven by our customers’ needs and best interests
  • Developing standards, identifying new approaches and training others in all these areas.
