As our Sales Consultant, you will proactively build and maintain relationships with our customers as your number one goal! You will identify complex technology solutions utilizing our industry-leading support system to ensure their sustainable growth.  


You will bring 2+ years of relevant sales expertise to our KONE family and an appetite for learning an exciting and new field. You will use the knowledge gained when obtaining your bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant working experience.

AS AN INSIDE SALES ENGINEER, YOU WILL: Review customer’s inquiry for application requirements and commercial terms and conditions.  Prepare quotations in response to customer inquiries, in accordance with controlled prices, discounts, terms and conditions and sales policies and procedures.  Review customer purchase orders for correct pricing, discounts, terms and conditions, part numbers and prepare for order entry. Respond to all customer requests for sales order status, expedited emergency shipment of parts and service kits, Documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and bills of materials. Document customer complaints Document returned materials. Assist other departments in resolving problems related to customer sales and service. Provide customer assistance via phone, fax, or e-mail. WHO YOU ARE: Take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances. Create new and better ways for the organization to be successful. Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions. Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.  REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  B.S. in Engineering, preferably Mechanical and/or 5 years previous relevant work experience.  Previous work experience in a technical environment strongly preferred, including internship or co-op assignments. Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and multi-task to meet deadlines. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications
