Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) Enterprise Cloud Program is currently looking for an Information Technology Manager to join our team in Bengaluru (India). As we execute on our Infrastructure and Operations ‘cloud’ strategy, we are looking for an experienced individual to lead a diverse team of developers, architects, and operations analysts to build and develop Cloud-related tools, ensure efficient cloud operations, and drive greater cloud adoption. 

This is an extremely critical and visible role requiring experience and general overview in Cloud IT Operations, architecture, automation, quality assurance and maintaining services with various underlying dependencies.

The successful candidate will engage closely with DevOps feature teams, Cloud Transition and Migration teams and Enterprise Cloud Leadership to deliver highly available and scalable services enhancing the Enterprise Cloud Program offerings for the business. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage tactical matters of cloud technology and operations including ideation, designing, ticketing process and service requests, and framework for management and charging
  • Ensure services are built and delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements, manage the service lifecycle for the Enterprise Cloud.
  • Stay current on cloud industry trend, and drive transformation. Explore new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward
  • Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists Incidents, problems and changes for services on day-to-day basis
  • Build Delivery Excellence function and delivering engagements within the defined SLA’s
  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • Provide automation of Build and Deployment Lifecycle of Products
  • Drive service improvements initiatives and extending services for global services
  • Maintain services with performance and availability as per service levels committed to businesses including escalation management
  • Respond to production events in restoring services quickly and efficiently – lead root cause analysis and remediation
  • Report to senior management and service stakeholders as per cadence set
  • Oversee Infrastructure operations support for initial response to disruptions, outages and incidents
  • Implement RCA/Problem Management, Change Management, Event Management, SLAs, production support, standards, and best practices for the technology organization
  • Provide people management, mentoring, training, career path planning

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 16+ years’ IT experience working in a technical role with at least 4 years in a People Management
  • Shown success in leading teams supporting operations and delivering IT solutions
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various technical team leaders in a globally distributed team
  • Previous experience with Agile, DevOps
  • Experience acquiring resources for projects and providing technical management of IT specialists
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 16+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Cloud Service Providers (AWS, AZURE, GCP)
  • Experience using collaboration tools like JIRA, ADO
  • Experience recruiting, training and leading a team
  • Ability to highlight risks/issues effectively and timely so these can be addressed in time
  • Understanding of Agile Application Development Lifecycle and methodologies
  • Understanding of DevOps Toolsets
  • Ability to work with multi-functional teams distributed across multiple countries
  • Cloud certification along with other security certifications is a plus
  • Technical and functional knowledge of infrastructure platforms (cloud, server, virtualization, network, Database platforms, infrastructure as code)
