Ethoca a Mastercard company is seeking an Analyst to join our Enterprise Information Management team who is a self-starter to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment. This is an individual contributor role that is responsible for data analysis and root cause analysis. You will be part of the Ethoca Data Science team that is working on interesting challenges which will directly impact the product.

Responsibilities include:
- Conduct data analysis
- Perform root cause analysis, problem solving and finding anomalies in the data
- Join large data sets, searching data, and aggregating data
- Manual validation and data annotation
- Create KPIs and metrics for reporting and to maintain a pulse of the system
- Build creative ways of automating the processes
- Support senior data scientist in data quality


An ideal candidate will have:
- Solid experience in SQL – able to work on multiple different SQL environments
- Prior experience in joining large data sets, searching data, and aggregating data
- Should be able to quickly re-prioritize
- Background in data quality
- Ability to work independently
- Communicate results to team members and stakeholders
- Prior experience with reporting tools is nice to have
- Previous experience in Python is nice to have

Skills and Qualifications:
- SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field is required
- Experience in Azure is a plus
