JOB EXPERIENCE FOR MAINFRAME DEVELOPER:

Development background in design, analysis and coding: COBOL (CICS), JCL, CICS, CA7 etc.
Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items
Prioritize Business Impact and Urgency
Perform application support tasks like: Systems support, Security reviews, & Maintenance tasks
Provide SLDC artifacts associated with application components
Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development
Develop and execute unit test cases to validate that application changes meet technical specifications
Adhere to security and control, and change control processes
Support QA with integration testing bug fixes
Participate in production support/pager duty rotation including weekend and off-hour support coverage

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR MAINFRAME DEVELOPER:

COBOL (CICS), CA7, DB2 and/ or SQL, Other Mainframe Technologies & Tools
TSO and VSAM experience required
Familiarity with Job Scheduler preferred (e.g. CA7)
Knowledge on File Transmission - SFTP, NDM
