Your main responsibility is to manage and scheduling the processing of film, TV video assets through the digital workflow from ingest to delivery.

What will your job look like?

Creating deliverable files that adhere to client specifications.
•    Ordering and Finding Assets in the Ecosystem that match the project requirements.
•    Evaluating the quality of Assets and send them to the correct teams for continuation of the workflow.
•    Describing and identifying the severity of issues in content
•    Confirming basic technical requirements and client specifications
•    Ensuring overall integrity and quality of content (video, audio, captions, etc.) adhere to standards as well as any additional client specific requirements.
•    Work with engineering to address hardware/software concerns /upgrades as needed.

•    Identify and document any encoding related issues.

    Excellent written and spoken language skills in English
•    Experience with common office applications 
•    Basic understanding of digital media technologies including encoding and quality control standards
•    The ability to react quickly and constructively to troubleshoot problems.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    College education or equivalent professional experience required
•    Experience in post-production services will be considered a PLUS
•    Prior Audio/Video Editing experience or education is required
•    Familiarity with various file formats (IMF, ProRes, scc, dxfp, pac, itt), standards, resolutions, frame rates, etc. will be considered a plus
•    Experience with Final Cut, Premiere and/or other editing software is a plus
•    Experience with digital video/audio encoding systems is a plus
•    Experience with ProTools preferred is a plus
•    Resolve and Colorfront experience preferred
•    Familiarity with video mastering and localization processes is a plus

The position will be responsible for performing technical evaluation of media assets, dubs, proxies, subtitles and other processing actions to ensure the assets meet client specifications. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a post-production style environment that supports the worlds leading services and their supply chains. What will your job look like? •            Logging received assets per industry standard technician specifications •            Perform quality control and technical evaluation assessments of the assets •            Perform technical edits that correct issues that may have been introduced in the post-production process while maintaining the filmmakers creative intent •            Encoding, transcoding, and other manipulation of the files as required •            Work with subtitles, audio dubs and numerous localized assets •            Maintain records in Juice’s internal content management system, ensuring that the information contained within is kept up to date with correct status •            Interface with client and streaming platform systems to ensure on-time delivery of assets that adhere to outbound specifications •            Troubleshoot novel issues that may arise, drawing on support from across the organization •            Stay up to date with the latest technical standards and software tools •            Liaise with operations contacts at other organizations •            Provide on-call coverage as required during major television or film launches All you need is... •            Diploma or Degree in Film & TV, broadcast, post-production or equivalent work experience •            2+ years industry related experience •            Knowledge of subtitling and caption software (i.e. Mac Caption, Ooona, EZ Titles, etc) •            Experience working with various media encoders and systems: Telestream Vantage, Episode, Adobe Premeire, Final Cut Pro, AVID Pro-Tools, Davinci Resolve •            OTT, IPTV or VOD experience •            Editing or Post-Production experience •            Knowledge of Tape Libraries, Formats and File Storage Systems •            Knowledge of Asset Management workflows •            Knowledge of common metadata formats and schemas •            Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication •            Strong independent problem solving and troubleshooting skills •            Experience with collaborative project management and ticketing tools (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Smartsheet, ZenDesk, Jira) •            Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite applications Why you will love this job: We are a company built on positive relationships and collaboration, and you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships while being a Digital Media Technician.
