We are currently seeking a Deputy Engineer for our CAB SHOP department located in Pimpri, Pune. The ideal candidate should have 1-5 years of experience with a Technical Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. Your main responsibilities will include executing BIW Mfg Shop activities, managing daily work, knowledge of BIW sheet metal fixtures assembly and proving, CMM inspection, GD&T, guiding the team, project management, shop management, safety, cost, productivity, and quality improvements. Education Qualification:  Technical Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering

Position Summary: Objectives:

1.BIW Mfg Shop activities execution

2.Daily Work management

3.Knowledge of BIW sheet metal Fixt ures Assembly and proving

4.Knowledge of BIW manufacturing process

5.Knowledge of CMM Inspection of BIW stamping parts and Assemblies

6.Knowledge of GD&T

7.Plan & Allocate the work to the team and guide them to meet delivery target time lines

8.Project management at daily level by coordination with various agencies.

9.Daily shop management including allocation, prioritization of work, decide offloading activities, discipline, shift scheduling, 5S maintenance etc.

10.Guide workforce for safe working. Horizontal deployment of safety, cost, productivity & quality improvements across ERC.

11.Productivity improvement initiatives to improve operation al efficiency

12.Coordinate with Manufacturing for improved quality and timely delivery13.Participate for innovation by patents, notarizations, VAVE, Cost saving in main. Activities, suggestion schemes, Kaizen etc.
