Job Description :

1. On-vehicle airbag ECU diagnosys, Post Crash data download of airbag ECU, Sensor data coparison, data correction, data sharing and conclusions.

2. Preparation of RFQ for Airbag ECU and Sensors.

3. Data compilation and analysis of multiple types of data - .DAT, .ISO, .HEX etc.

4. Sensor data study, comparison and correlation to assess the structural behaviour during impact using the data generated in physical test.

5. Co-ordination with the integrators, testing engineers, COCs and the suppliers.

6. Generating Vehicle Safety requirements in accordance with the regulatory and certification compliance for different markets.

7. Sanity check for the data generated and the data shared by the supplier.

8. To lead the activities related to airbag ECU tuning that involves data sharing with the supplier and co-ordination with the supplier to meet internal requirements.

9. To introduce world class practices and functionalities to achieve targetted safety features and beyond for the vehicle

10. Systematic data management of multiple projects, different data types and multiple stake holders.

11. Checking the test correctness and test decisions with respect to different types of test configurations to evaluate given safety aspects of the vehicle.

12. Thorough knowledge about the crash testing instrumentation, sensors and equipment

13. Dummy injury analysis based on the dummy sensor data output in CAE as well as physical testing

Software Competency:

Proficiency in following CAE tools or equivalent

1. Oasys Primer, THIS, D3plot or equivalent

2. AIML tools and algorithms

Managerial Competency:

1. Review Occupant CAE simulations and provide the conclusion

2.Declaration of simulation startegy, plan and CAE analysis timeline for various CAE activities

3. Establishing correlation between simulation model & test for different crash loadcases.

4. Application of DOE techniques to solve crashworthiness problems.

5. Review crash simulation guidelines and create guidelines for new procedures/ simulations

Job Description ·       Concept models of advanced Body in White (BIW) structures and Finite Element (FE) mesh for CAE assessment Experience in CAE analysis of vehicle sub systems ·       Knowledge of automotive materials and materials science, including steel, aluminum, composites Understanding of structural theory and properties of thin-walled sections ·       Able to manage multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously ·       Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills ·       Familiarity with automotive Body structures, design processes, BIW assembly processes and materials used in BIW design Experience with SFE CONCEPT software, model building and FE mesh morphing tools ·       Knowledge of FE mesh morphing tools ·       High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) ·       Generation of Rapid Concept Development (RCD) models, Run the CAE analysis of the model in different Finite Element (FE) analysis codes including LS-Dyna, Nastran and Isight / OptiStruct/ Hyperworks. ·       Application of optimization parameters (e.g. shape, gauge, material, topology) to the RCD model, prepare the model for optimization, and run the optimization study on system. ·       Where appropriate, application of topology, topography and shape optimization tools to generate design concepts. ·       Preparation of reports and summaries of structural performance, and working with engineer s to design countermeasures and improvements to the analyzed concept.

Continuous maintenance of the current components (i.e. supplier relocation, molding/tools maintenance, change of raw materials, new color implementation). -The continuous maintenance may involve the evaluation of a minimum of 100 additional components to the current programs.   Follow up the maintenance and calibration for selected equipment in the Materials Laboratory.
