Role Profile

· LSEG Capital Markets equities division covers the main trading venue, turquoise MTF, reference data, member self-service, surveillance, trade reporting and other key businesses of LSE Plc.

· The TPM team is comprised of highly capable, motivated and diverse set of people who have several years of experience delivering BAU and transformational change for business. We believe in empowering people, open communication, fostering innovation and growth. Technical Product Managers work in partnership with the business & operations and are responsible for delivering the technical product roadmap.

· Business Analysts report into the product TPM and work closely with the business to capture requirement and translate them into technical stories for development. The team manages technical delivery for key products such as the ultra-low latency exchange and market data platforms, mission critical market surveillance systems, regulatory trade reporting systems, client facing portals.

· The products cover a multitude of technologies ranging from on-prem, cloud-native, data-warehouse, business intelligence, hardware accelerated FPGA etc.

Skills and Experience

· 7+ years of Business Analyst/Technical Analyst experience in capital markets.

· Computer Science / Finance / Technical degree preferred.

· Good understanding & experience with Agile methodologies.

· Good understanding of project management fundamentals.

· Good verbal and written communication & presentation skills.

· Experience in trading, order/trade management and market data.

· A problem solver with good analytical skills, ownership and a determination to grow and succeed.

Preferred Skills and Experience

· Experience managing cloud-based transformation projects.

· Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies, managing a backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up, etc.).

Detailed Role & Responsibilities

· Run workshops with business, operations & technology teams to capture & refine business requirements.

· Work with solution architects & apply product SME knowledge to define technical stories.

· Work with quality assurance teams in defining test scripts and acceptance criteria.

· Work with development teams in defining low level design.

· Support product development using PDLC, SDLC & Agile frameworks.

The Senior QA Analyst is a member of the Agile Team responsible for testing software developed for Capital Markets FX Products; they apply business requirements and knowledge of software testing lifecycles to guide the testing of complex software products or customer solutions. The Senior QA Analyst contributes through their technical expertise and talent development. You will need to:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent professional qualification  5+ years hands on experience in Software development life cycle, preferably in testing multi-tiered applications. 4+ years experience in testing backend applications build on RestAPIs. 4+ years experience in using SQL. Experience in creating test plans. Build, maintain and update automated test scripts based on the test cases. Demonstrate a clear understanding of standard software QA processes and methodologies. Ability to grasp technical and domain knowledge quickly is critical. High attention to details and strong communication skills with ability to work under pressure.
