General Summary: Qualcomm is seeking a Manager to join Qualcomm's Identity and Access Management Team that manages, maintains and enhances production, development, and test systems in a 24x7 mission critical environment. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter Java/Grails/UI Developer with excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills. Desired candidate should have around 13 to 15 years hands-on technical experience with both Groovy/Grails and Java with Spring Framework. Must have exposure of building integrations and developing tools for Identity & Access management domain. In addition to sound technical skills, this position requires a seasoned people manager with experience in leading highly skilled and technical workforce to deliver mission critical services. Leadership responsibilities will include resource planning and development of your teams from career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews. Responsibilities for this team also includes design and support of security-specific strategies, operations and processes. You will also define quality standards for services; ensuring adherence; and incentivizing continuous improvement. Mandatory 13 to 15 years of industry experience required in Java8 / Spring development 5 or more years of experience in leadership position as Development or Service Manager Must be familiar with testdriven development and writing Unit tests Must be familiar with data object models, ORM persistence layers and SQL databases Must be familiar with Webservices like SOAP and REST Experience in technologies like Angular JS/Node JS /React is a plus Must be a good teamplayer with strong analytical and communication skills Wiling to work in Devops model Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous development tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Drekar etc Willingness to work in Agile environment sprint based model Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex user requests and issues Partner with project managers/business analysts to support and adapt to new business objectives Develop solutions for Identity provisioning, lifecycle and governance using IAM technologies Demonstrate knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and dependent services Having implementation and development experience on Saviynt is a plus Provide afterhours/weekend oncall support as part of a scheduled rotation The job may involve exposure to ansible, groovy or python/perl programming The job will have exposure to using monitoring and analytics tools like Splunk./Splunk queries Leadership Skills: Expertise in Service delivery, Service management and improvements Experience in successfully leading teams through transformation Prior success developing high performing teams through executing responsibilities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews. Proven success championing the strategic direction of an organization including the ability to articulate a clear, concise strategic vision and direction of the company, high degree of executive presence Ability to influence and collaborate throughout all levels of the organization.
