Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide storytelling to build cross-functional and leadership alignment. Bring a strategic and systems/framework design mindset to solve at scale and across Google.
  • Collaborate with a team of designers, researchers, content strategists, engineers, and product managers focused on making the payment experience seamless and relevant for users in India.
  • Navigate and lead through ambiguity while partnering with driven Product Managers and Engineering leads motivated to deliver value to our users and partners.
  • Liaise with designers across streams in India and across Payments UX to share learnings and influence experiences for other geographies.
  • Help improve the discovery and ease of use of core user journeys. User Experience will have a significant impact on the direction and roadmap of the project.

Be self-directed and able to self-manage. Qualifications 0-2 years of interaction design work experience. Experience in user interface design, data visualization, and prototyping. Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path as well as edge and corner cases, and incorporate them in designs.
