You will be working as Product Owner and will be part of Motion Business Area for Drive Products Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Project Engineer and will be responsible for contributing significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product and/or solution development as well as associated IP by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions. Using unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks. Acting as the first line contact in R&D/SW development/product engineering for the specific product related issues and maintenance.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Clarifying domain related doubts on an iterative basis and creating common understanding between team members and stakeholders
  • Analyzing and creating a high level resolution plan for team members if there are any reports of bugs by the stake holders
  • Delivering time of tools under development ensuring quality standards and maintaining road map planning with up-to-date project status
  • Monitoring the under-development project and ensuring each feature which is being developed fully meet customer expectations
  • Ensuring the scalability and maintainability of the tools. Focusing on creating and grooming requirements for teams
  • Coordinating with PM, Marketing Managers, UI/UX development team and R&D management. Understanding the trends and dynamics of the VFD market is essential
  • Managing local products and sales organization to find out the requirements and proposing innovate solutions to bridge these technical debts

 

Your background

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology or engineering (Electrical/Power/Electronic)
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience with variable frequency drives
  • Basic knowledge of desktop and web technologies, software testing procedures and SDLC process
  • Experience in defining the algorithms and rules with power electronics and motor developers for dimensioning and analysis
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism

The IS Sourcing Negotiation Manager shall be the go-to lead for complex IS sourcing projects and negotiations typically above $500K contract value. Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and driving the research and development efforts for our asset management products. As a Product Owner, you will be a crucial link between the business stakeholders, R&D teams, and technical development teams, ensuring that our asset management solutions are innovative, competitive, and meet the evolving needs of our clients. Note: The candidate intially would be required to work in a shift starting at 1 pm  to 10 pm IST hours ( should be flexible).  Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Vision:  Work closely with Product Management to develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our asset management products. This includes understanding market trends, client feedback, and technology advancements. 2. Requirements Gathering:  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs. 3. R&D Alignment:  Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of product features and enhancements. 4. Feature Definition:  Create detailed feature specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring a clear understanding of the desired outcomes for development teams. 5. Prioritization:  Prioritize product features based on business value, client impact, and technical feasibility. 6. Iteration Planning:  Participate in Agile development processes, define sprint goals, and ensure the team's work aligns with the product roadmap. 7. Product Testing:  Collaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to ensure product quality, and conduct user acceptance testing. 8. Market and Competitive Analysis:  Continuously monitor the asset management market and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation. 9. User Experience (UX):  Work with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces, considering user needs and feedback. 10. Stakeholder Communication:  Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, ensuring that they are informed about the product's progress and any potential issues. 11. Product Launch:  Plan and execute product launches, including go-to-market strategies, user training, and documentation. 12. Product Performance Tracking:  Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the product's success and make data-driven decisions for further improvements. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering). - 3 - 7 years of related experience, preferably in a global enterprise software company with a background in agile methodologies being highly desirable - Proven experience as a Product Owner in the software development industry. - Understanding of asset management practices is a bonus. - Excellent project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions. - Familiarity with technology and software development processes. - Strong leadership and teamwork skills. - Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
