eDrive Integrated Power Module (IPM) Design & Reliability Engineer will be responsible for hardware development for traction inverter system. The role will specifically be focused on IPM design, thermal management, reliability and robustness. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do...
Conduct inverter hardware design for eDrive system, including simulation analysis and experimental investigation.

Develop inverter functional and design verification method and procedure.

Coordinate and conduct hardware testing and troubleshooting in the lab to verify and validate inverter design functionality and reliability.

Ensure overall quality of inverter system throughout the design and verification process. Support root cause analysis for the field issues.

Investigate the cutting-edge power electronics technologies and their applications for traction inverter of EV.

Support inverter and eDrive benchmark activities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

You'll have... 
M.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with specialty in power electronics, power modules, thermal management or solder sinter joint integrity/reliability

3+ years of experience on power electronics component, power module and IPM design and analysis. Proficiency in circuit or multi-physics FEA simulation tools (e.g. Matlab, PSIM, Saber, Spice, ANSYS, etc.)

3+ years of hands-on experience on power electronics, power module and IPM/cooling structure hardware testing and troubleshooting. Proficiency in test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, power analyzer, function generator, etc.)

 

Even better, you may have...
Ph.D. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related area with specialty in power electronics, power modules, thermal management or solder sinter joint integrity/reliability

5+ years of experience on power electronics component, power module and IPM design and CAE analysis.

5+ years of hands-on experience on power electronics, power module and IPM/cooling structure hardware testing and troubleshooting.

Knowledge and experience on wide band gap devices (SiC and/or GaN) as well as packaging and thermal management technologies for high temperature modules

Knowledge and experience on traction inverter design and validation in EV is another plus

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Self-motivated with the ability to learn and manage multiple tasks

Job Description As a Senior Tax Accountant you will be responsible for preparing US Federal and State income tax returns, reviewing sales & use tax, maintaining the income tax payable and receivable accounts, reviewing withholding taxes, reviewing FIN 48 questionnaires, preparing various memos for ASC 740, reviewing the global tax rates, assisting with the preparation of the quarterly tax provisions, audit queries, and special projects. Ensure that all U.S. tax compliance is filed timely and in accordance with federal and state requirements. Analyze, reconcile, and maintain worldwide tax balance sheet accounts. Supervise the sales tax compliance function and coordinate issue resolution with the Junior Tax Accountant and Manager. Prepare responses to federal and state tax notices.
