Job Description

Functional Requirement:

  • Knowledge of financial products, especially Repos, loan-to-value.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting in particular SFTR.
  • Knowledge of Collateral operations
  • Functional analyst within the Regulatory Reporting team who will be part of the Product Team that supports SFTR regulation.

Required abilities / competencies:

  • Experience in project execution from the point of view of scope definition and test definition and execution.
  • You will be responsible for defining and documenting in detail the functional scope of the necessary improvements in the Reporting, as well as the monitoring of the tasks and the definition, execution and documentation of the test cases.
  • Ability to breakdown any problem into components that can be collaboratively solved
  • Ability to negotiate on the scope of the problem through business understanding
  • Penchant for business and persistence to work with data to derive insights
  • Experience in analysing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets
  • Ability to find innovative solutions to mitigate dependencies and risks for deliverables
  • Ability to independently plan and execute deliveries
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of requirements

Technical capabilities:

  • Expertise in SQL, Excel
  • Good to have scripting languages (R, Python, etc.)

Understanding of RDBMS and Big Data   

Knowledge of Collateral operations Language: Spanish & English

About the Role   Workday is expanding our Global Payroll Team and is seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Analyst who wants to make their mark on a growing organization.    The Senior Payroll Analyst combines technical expertise, project management and employee relations all in one. You’ll play a key role in Payroll Processing using Workday Payroll system and/or preparing monthly international payroll instructions to third party vendors as well as support internal international payroll projects.     Working closely with the greater International Payroll team, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to both third party vendors and Workday partners regarding integrated solutions and implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, payroll, project management, implementation and problem solving.
