About the role
We are scaling our ISP team and are looking for a motivated engineer to help us build word-class software. We’re looking for more experienced software engineers who have built scalable, highly available, and secure systems. The team is looking for a Software Engineer to build key features and backend cloud services.

What you'll do
- Build services that handle billions of requests each day from eero devices, mobile apps, and internal tools
- Collaborate with peers across engineering, product, and design to shape our product vision and build exciting end user features
- Enhance and optimize existing services to improve reliability, scalability, and flexibility
- Provide mentorship to other cloud engineers and help change development processes to increase developer productivity and project predictability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
