Responsibilities
- Supervise daily workshop activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance and repair operations.
- Coordinate manpower, resources, and job schedules to achieve productivity and delivery targets.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvements in workshop performance.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely resolution of operational and service issues.
- Track workshop KPIs, analyze performance data, and provide operational reports.
- Lead, coach, and develop workshop personnel while managing performance and workforce effectiveness.
- Monitor workshop costs, labor utilization, inventory, and invoicing to support profitability and operational efficiency.
- Champion a proactive commitment to Sandvik’s Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Vision and culture.
- Ensure EHS leadership is integrated into strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all levels to drive sustainable EHS performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in workshop operations, equipment maintenance, rebuilds, or product support within the mining, heavy equipment, or related industries.
- 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Sound understanding of mining and heavy equipment maintenance practices, component rebuild and repair, troubleshooting, workshop operations, and resource planning.
- Strong technical background in heavy equipment, mining equipment, drilling rigs, and underground mining machinery.
- Proven experience in leading workshop teams, coordinating maintenance activities, and managing workloads to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
- Good understanding of workshop planning, labor utilization, inventory control, job costing, and operational performance management.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound operational decisions, and work collaboratively.
- Intermediate English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Right to live and work in Indonesia.
