Responsibilities
- Develop feature test plans and perform comprehensive end-to-end feature validation and testing for large-scale software subsystems.
- Plan and execute feature validation for development milestones and external activities.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks, test utilities, and test automation.
- Develop, maintain, and execute continuous and nightly regression test suites.
- Plan and establish software, hardware, and network for end-to-end system integration and test environments.
- Debug complex embedded software and troubleshoot end-to-end software and hardware integration issues.
- Apply and develop networking diagnostics, data visualization, and system performance analysis tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python programming.
- Understanding of multi-threading, OS fundamentals.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced, collaborative software engineering environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering OR 2 years of work experience in an Embedded Software Engineering field.
- Familiarity with Linux based development, release and deploy environments.
- Experience debugging embedded software and performing end-to-end software integration in networked environments.
- Experience developing and maintaining test frameworks and utilities, automating end-to-end regression tests, and integrating test automation into CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with telecom test equipment such as spectrum analyzer and computer network configuration and performance monitoring hardware and software tools.
- Knowledge of virtualization, cloud-computing, containerization, and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Knowledge of network protocols, wireless systems, QoS frameworks, protocols such as 5G NR, LTE, and 802.11.
- Aptitude to seek and adopt productivity enhancement processes/tools (AI-based & other).
