HCLTech is seeking a Track Manager with expertise in Oracle Exadata and Oracle DB to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role requires strong PeopleSoft administration skills, including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning of PeopleSoft environments and associated technologies like Weblogic and Tuxedo. A Bachelor's degree and over 7 years of experience are necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD).
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and security configurations.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to application servers, web servers, and databases.
  • Ensure high availability and system reliability.
  • Apply images for updates using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and PeopleSoft Release Patch-set (PRP).
  • Install PeopleSoft applications, People tools, Web-logic, Oracle, and PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) instances.
  • Configure and maintain Web Logic Server, Application Server components Tuxedo/Jolt and PeopleSoft Databases.
  • Experience in performance tuning of PeopleSoft Application, Oracle queries, and Oracle 12C databases.
  • Provide architectural solutions for the ERP platform.

Requirements

  • PeopleSoft Admin + Oracle Logical DBA skills are a must.
  • Oracle Core DBA skills will be preferred with PSA + Logical DBA.
  • Sound knowledge on Weblogic, tuxedo, and process scheduler.
  • Experience with DPK installation and infra patch using DPK, oracle critical patch update.
  • Experience on Open search, certificate installation and configure 3rd party certificate.
  • Must have experience in IB, SSO and 3rd party node configuration.
  • Experience in People-tools 8.60 and above.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with a strong technical solution mindset.
  • 7+ years of experience with Peoplesoft Administration activities.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting production issues in a large production environment.
  • Experience in UNIX OS and Shell/Python script.
  • Basic SQL and Java knowledge.
  • Ability to understand and debug Peoplesoft administration and development related issues.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Self-starter.

Desired Qualifications

  • Oracle Core DBA skills will be preferred with PSA + Logical DBA.
  • Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise: Experience in People-tools 8.60 and above.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
