We are seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in LAN/WAN technologies, specifically Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC), Cisco Catalyst 9K, Cisco Nexus, and Aruba CX. The role involves L3 escalation, advanced troubleshooting, and implementing automation using Python and Ansible.
Responsibilities
- Act as L3 escalation point for critical LAN incidents.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across campus networks.
- Support large-scale Cisco and Aruba switching environments.
- Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues.
- Manage device onboarding, provisioning, assurance, and image management in Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC).
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring infrastructure issues.
- Implement permanent corrective actions and maintain technical knowledge articles.
- Plan and execute IOS-XE upgrades and switch refresh initiatives.
- Perform validation and rollback testing for software upgrades.
- Conduct capacity forecasting, utilization analysis, and performance optimization.
- Ensure infrastructure modernization.
- Remediate vulnerabilities, review security advisories, and perform configuration compliance audits.
- Provide network segmentation support.
- Develop Python scripts and Ansible automation.
- Integrate with DNAC APIs.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of LAN Engineering experience.
- 3+ years supporting Cisco DNAC.
- Experience handling major incidents.
- Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC).
- Expertise in Cisco Catalyst 9K, Cisco Nexus, and Aruba CX.
- Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, QoS, SDA, and Cisco ISE.
- Experience with Python scripting and Ansible automation.
- Familiarity with DNAC API integrations.

- CCNP Enterprise certification.
- Cisco SDA Specialization.
- Aruba ACNP certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
