Responsibilities
- Design, implement and validate cloud and network security controls, including Fortinet high-availability deployments across US, Poland and Singapore.
- Assess current security, firewall, segmentation and access-control posture.
- Deploy two Fortinet firewall VM instances per landing-zone region in standardized active-passive high availability.
- Migrate or recreate firewall rules; perform tuning, hardening, failover and resilience validation.
- Configure secure administrative access via jump/bastion hosts and support IAM, encryption, audit logging and security visibility.
- Support GCP-side integration with Wiz and CrowdStrike, validate security during migration/cutover and prepare firewall matrices, runbooks and evidence.
Requirements
- Experience with GCP security.
- Proficiency in Palo Alto Firewall.
- Experience with Fortinet high-availability deployments.
- Familiarity with security, firewall, segmentation and access-control posture assessment.
- Ability to migrate or recreate firewall rules, perform tuning, hardening, failover and resilience validation.
- Experience configuring secure administrative access via jump/bastion hosts.
- Support for IAM, encryption, audit logging and security visibility.
- Experience with GCP-side integration with Wiz and CrowdStrike.
- Ability to validate security during migration/cutover.
- Preparation of firewall matrices, runbooks and evidence.
