Responsibilities

  • Own technical product positioning and messaging for the Microsoft 365 Copilot portfolio, grounded in product truth, customer needs, and competitive reality.
  • Build deep product expertise by partnering with engineering and PM to understand architecture, integrations, limitations, functionality, and roadmap, translating this into simple, accurate narratives.
  • Lead product-truth validation for customer-facing assets, ensuring claims are specific, testable, and aligned to the current state.
  • Shape product experiences by bringing customer feedback, market signals, and competitive learnings into readiness and prioritization discussions.

  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with product management, engineering, design, and sales/field stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build deep product expertise and translate complex systems into accurate, differentiated messaging for both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience validating product claims with engineering/PM partners and creating technical proof points (e.g., how-it-works explanations, evaluation guidance, limitations/constraints, and admin/IT considerations).
  • Competitive analysis skills, including the ability to understand competitor workflows and positioning and translate that into clear differentiation.
  • Experience representing products externally through technical sessions (conferences, webinars, customer briefings) and building content that scales through partners and the community.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset, with the ability to ground product truth in real customer needs, constraints, and adoption blockers.
  • Ability to balance long-term narrative intent with near-term execution; comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and creating clarity through writing.
  • Hands-on experience performing product and competitive evaluations or teardowns, including demo replication, scenario testing, workflow comparisons, and documenting strengths, limitations, and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience creating or influencing technical demos, test plans, and evaluation frameworks; comfort working with prompt-based or scenario-based products.
