ABB is seeking a Technical Sales Lead for Cyber Security in Abu Dhabi to spearhead the technical development and support of their OT Cybersecurity portfolio across the IMEA region. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation, OT cybersecurity standards like IEC 62443, and experience in technical sales support with a minimum of 8-12 years in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical development, positioning, qualification, solution design, and execution support of ABB's OT Cybersecurity portfolio in the IMEA region.
  • Act as the primary technical authority for cybersecurity growth initiatives, customer engagements, and opportunity development.
  • Support the software product roadmap by suggesting new features and functionality.
  • Manage the end-to-end technical sales support process, from customer needs identification to solution demonstration and articulation.
  • Orchestrate customer lifecycle stages including opportunity identification, qualification, value engineering, solution blueprinting, pilot, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Drive consistent development of digital solutions and processes to meet client requirements in a timely manner.
  • Develop qualified opportunity pipelines across Energy, Water, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, and Process Industries.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in cyber security within industrial automation, OT cybersecurity, digital solutions, or related industrial technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, DCS, PLC, SCADA, and OT environments.
  • Experience supporting regional or multi-country business development activities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to work across cultures and multiple IMEA markets.
  • Hold current valid Driving licenses in UAE.

Desired Qualifications
