Responsibilities
- Create documentation and training materials for Virtual Prototyping tools.
- Develop GUI-based procedures and lab exercises on real-time use cases.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and design teams for input and feedback.
- Maintain documentation to stay in sync with the latest tool versions.
- Adhere to Synopsys Style Guide conventions in documentation.
- Use JIRA for tracking doc changes and follow procedures.
- Utilize AI-driven setups for automation in editing XML documents.
Requirements
- B.Tech/B.Sc/MCA in Computer Science with basic programming knowledge.
- Entry-level experience writing technical documentation (user manuals, developer guides, etc.).
- Strong command of written English with attention to grammar, structure, and clarity.
- Familiarity with American English spelling conventions.
- Hands-on experience authoring in DITA XML and comfort working directly with XML code.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and document development life cycles.
- Ability to learn new tools and technical domains quickly.
- Ask clarifying questions and translate complex information into usable content.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Oxygen Author or similar structured authoring tools is a strong plus.
- Background in EDA, semiconductor, or technical software documentation is a plus.
- Comfortable managing multiple documentation projects, tracking reviews, and keeping stakeholders aligned.
- Ability to push back when review comments are vague or contradictory and work with SMEs.
- Treat deadlines seriously and scope work so documentation ships with the product.
- Work with the team to deliver doc deliverables on time for every release with high quality standards.
- Use all automations set up in the team and follow the Styleguide to author DITA XML topics.
- Follow integrity and strive to meet release deadlines.
