Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational transfer pricing framework, including implementation and monitoring of intercompany pricing policies.
  • Calculate and execute periodic transfer pricing adjustments and ensure accurate booking of intercompany charges.
  • Maintain transfer pricing controls and resolve operational issues to ensure compliance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices using automation tools.
  • Prepare Microsoft’s global transfer pricing documentation.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and segmentation of P&L statements for transfer pricing studies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (tax, finance, legal, controllership) to ensure alignment and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law, or related field AND 6+ years tax compliance, tax accounting, tax audit management or tax advisory experience.
  • OR Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation or related field; J.D.; LL.M. in Taxation) AND 5+ years tax compliance, tax accounting, tax audit management or tax advisory experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Sound knowledge of international transfer pricing laws and regulations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or similar certification.
  • Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation or related field; J.D.; LL.M. in Taxation) AND 6+ years tax compliance, tax accounting, tax audit management or tax advisory experience.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law, or related field AND 8+ years tax compliance, tax accounting, tax audit management or tax advisory experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and maintain a growth mindset in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to partner and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency with complex business systems such as SAP, Mercury, Power Automate, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
