Responsibilities

  • Drive overall performance in financial result, capital efficiency, and governance.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the entity's financial function (accounting, reporting, cost management, cash management, controlling).
  • Provide specialist advice to senior managers to enable implementation of policy, projects, and change initiatives.
  • Undertake strategic and tactical financial analysis, modeling, and evaluation.
  • Manage and report on performance, setting objectives for direct reports.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategy for key responsibility areas.
  • Evaluate staff capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development activities.
  • Coach and mentor others to support talent development.
  • Change business processes, culture, and behavior to be more inclusive.
  • Lead the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols.
  • Manage risk management and/or risk control processes.
  • Manage financial management and/or control processes.
  • Manage budget plans for a department.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or Equivalent Level 7
  • Experience in financial result, capital efficiency, and governance.
  • Experience in general accounting and reporting, cost management, cash management, and controlling.
  • Experience in business services, IT, procurement is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Experience in performance management and objective setting.
  • Experience in strategy formation and implementation.
  • Experience in organizational capability building and staff development.
  • Experience in managing risk management and control processes.
  • Experience in financial management and control processes.
  • Experience in budget management.
