Join Ericsson as a SWE Automation Intern to contribute to customer solutions during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role involves developing software components, supporting testing, and working within Agile and CI/CD practices while assisting in asset creation and ongoing development activities. Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate software components according to specifications.
  • Contribute to component and system testing, identifying issues and collaborating on fixes.
  • Follow software development best practices, including Agile methods and CI/CD processes.
  • Assist in asset creation and ongoing development activity needed for the project.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
  • Emphasize security, reliability, and compliance throughout development and testing.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and improvement activities to enhance software quality and delivery speed.

Requirements

  • Cloud technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, containers, microservices, Spring Boot.
  • Front end development experience and related tooling.
  • Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • DevSecOps mindset encompassing security in the development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of security, IT security, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with software vulnerability management and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • CI/CD experience and familiarity with tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Sonar, Helm.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
  • Available for a full-time internship for 12 weeks.
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship.
