Responsibilities
- Lead and manage proactive quality work with suppliers in handshake and NPD/EPD projects.
- Advise R&D regarding cost-effective design for manufacturing in NPD/EPD projects.
- Act as technical support in supplier selection.
- Work on alternate supply chains and identify dual sources & implementation activity.
- Align with global sourcing strategy and work to improve cost competitiveness.
- Work on sustainable supply chain with focus on SQDC.
- Secure that the supplier has understood all documents and technical requirements.
- Evaluate the technical capability of the supplier and support them in technical questions.
- Support the factory in approval process of the parts.
- Drive and/or support Q PIM cases.
- Drive change management & development activities & projects.
- Product & process validation.
Requirements
- Ability to read Engineering drawings, GD&T.
- Knowledge of production concepts & processes like casting, machining, fabrication, electrical panels & motors.
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Sourcing & development.
- Proactive in anticipating problems.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to drive change.
