Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an HR Shared Services Supervisor in Hyderabad to manage HR inquiries from employees and managers, supporting global HR policies and processes within a dynamic contact center. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills for various HR transactions and human capital management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Documents accurate case notes for complex inquiries following each phone call, webportal chat, or online employee case submission.
  • Guides others to open case management tickets for any unresolved issues and refers cases to the appropriate expert for problem resolution.
  • Uses FAQs, scripts, and advanced HR knowledge to assist employees at all levels.
  • Searches HR webportal and knowledge base system for relevant information to provide answers to employee questions.
  • Coaches team members to understand and apply advanced concepts to complete tasks and make informed decisions.
  • Manages problems encountered while using HR self-service tools for employee transactions (e.g., data changes, onboarding, separations, benefits administration, performance management, compensation, job postings).
  • Answers complex inquiries for industry-leading Human Capital Management Tools such as Tableau, Workday modules, ServiceNow, Bswift, Eightfold.
  • Demonstrates and encourages respect, fairness, and dignity towards others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Human Resources work experience, OR Associate's degree and 8+ years of Human Resources work experience, OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Human Resources work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
  • 8+ years of HR Shared Services or Human Resources work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr Director level and above).
  • 2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Provides supervision to direct reports.
  • Decision-making is significant in nature and affects work beyond immediate work group.
  • Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information.
  • May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
  • Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
  • Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
  • Tasks do not have defined steps; planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
