Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Sr. Solutions Architecture Manager to lead their Swedish team, focusing on customer success through AWS technologies. This role involves hiring, developing, and coaching cloud solutions architects, partnering with various AWS teams, and driving the adoption of AWS services in Sweden.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Swedish solutions architecture team.
  • Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects and Solution Architecture Managers.
  • Coach Solutions Architects on technical skills and customer engagement.
  • Represent AWS in public events and with customers as the tech leader of Sweden.
  • Partner with account management teams to drive AWS adoption.
  • Guide the development of whitepapers and customer-facing guidance.
  • Own the technical strategy to increase customer value and adoption of AWS solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering, and support teams.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience building technical teams, including hiring, training, development, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Experience building industry and technology solutions.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
  • Ability to compile, develop, and deliver architectural guardrails aligned with IT strategy.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and ensure compliance within technology domains.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to guide technology strategy.
  • BE level degree or equivalent work experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Experience using AWS services in distributed environments with Enterprise Software Cloud and/or other AWS experience.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level or higher.
