Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues and support production objectives using problem-solving techniques.
- Lead production workflows and assembly line execution.
- Deliver work according to quality requirements and work instructions.
- Understand and adhere to ESD and Explosive Safety control procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale.
- Complete functional testing of assemblies and systems.
- Sign off on completed work according to specifications.
- Train and transfer knowledge to new employees.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment aligned with company values.
- Work extended hours and weekend overtime when required.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing environments with extensive floor expertise.
- Ability to interpret complex technical documentation, including assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle diverse material scales with precision and safety.
- Ability to operate automated equipment and optimize mechanical assembly processes.
- Demonstrated experience in driving root-cause problem-solving initiatives.
- Experience with continuous improvement projects, recommending and implementing new operational procedures.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging specialized tools, equipment, and manufacturing software.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Desired Qualifications
- Working/handling of munitions or other hazardous materials.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, twisting, grasping, gripping, standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including lifting and assembly of parts.
- Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds frequently, and up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion.
