As a Software Engineer II on the Agent 365 Foundation team, you will build and operate the compute platform for AI agents, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform workloads. This hybrid role focuses on container orchestration and isolation layers on Azure, requiring a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and operate platform services and APIs for provisioning, scaling, and securing containerized compute for Agent 365 and Dynamics workloads.
  • Build and improve hosting on Azure Container Instances, Service Fabric, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Work in networking, identity, and isolation layers to meet security and compliance standards.
  • Own features end to end in a DevOps model.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for live site production incidents.
  • Use telemetry, logging, and monitoring to make data-informed decisions on reliability, performance, capacity, and cost.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Azure compute services such as AKS, Azure Container Instances, Service Fabric, or Virtual Machine Scale Sets.
  • Experience with Microsoft stack technologies, particularly C#, .NET, and core Azure platform services.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and safe deployment practices (e.g., ARM/Bicep templates, Azure DevOps pipelines).
  • Experience with Azure networking concepts (virtual networks, DNS, load balancing).
  • Experience operating high-availability services, including on-call ownership, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with large-scale observability and diagnostics tooling.
  • Exposure to generative AI, agentic workloads, or LLM/ML systems, and interest in the infrastructure challenges they present.
