As a Subject Matter Expert in Support & Operations, you will be responsible for resolving escalated incidents and ensuring quality compliance using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform in Azure environments. This role involves mentoring team members, validating change plans, engaging with customers, and conducting root cause analysis to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time resolution and quality compliance of escalated incidents using IaC and Terraform within Azure environments, adhering to SLAs.
- Mentor team members and administrators in best practices for Azure IaaS, PaaS, and Kubernetes.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes.
- Validate Change Order implementation plans and ensure human error compliance through Terraform configurations and Azure infrastructure management.
- Actively engage in customer meetings to address concerns and gather feedback, leveraging Azure services knowledge.
- Conduct root cause analysis and trend analysis to provide insights through reports for key business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Proficiency in Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause and trend analyses.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to liaise with business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks for incident management and service delivery.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Azure Solutions Architect or Terraform Associate is optional but valuable.
- ITIL Foundation Certification is recommended.
