Responsibilities

  • Advise on long- and short-term site acquisition strategies across markets, regions, and disciplines.
  • Provide level-of-effort estimates during pre-sales and early project phases to support budget development.
  • Lead weekly deployment calls and deliver detailed site status reports to customers and project management.
  • Manage leasing, landlord consent, zoning, and permitting activities end-to-end.
  • Oversee A&E firms in producing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings.
  • Obtain regulatory approvals (NEPA, SHPO, Phase 1, etc.) and manage the Notice to Proceed process.
  • Identify project risks and communicate mitigation strategies.
  • Assess service provider performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records in applicable databases and ensure quality audit compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in telecommunications site acquisition.
  • Proven track record managing diverse site acquisition deployments.
  • Extensive experience with MLA partners and tower companies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and expertise in contract language review.
  • Deep knowledge of real estate practices, telecommunications construction processes, and LTE network design fundamentals.
  • Experience managing budgets with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Post-graduate degree, PMP Certification, Real Estate License, or Ericsson Ways of Working experience a plus.
