As a Service Technician, you will perform field service operations, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance and retrofits for automatic doors. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, site assessments, providing reports, testing, commissioning, and decommissioning systems, along with proposing upgrades and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Carry out schedule and retrofits of automatic door parts (mechanical, electrical, and electronic).
- Troubleshoot and conduct site checks on automatic entrances, proposing parts recommendations.
- Provide site reports to clients for work completion.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and decommissioning of automatic entrance systems.
- Conduct risk assessments of all automatic entrance related systems and products.
- Propose upgrades for automatic door entrances and provide feasible solutions for existing ones.
- Maintain assigned service vehicle in good condition and keep it clean.
- Stay updated on product information and technical know-how for ASSA ABLOY and competitor products.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and exchange them when damaged or worn.
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and conduct site checks.
- Proficiency in testing, commissioning, and decommissioning systems.
- Skills in conducting risk assessments.
- Experience in proposing upgrades and solutions.
- Ability to maintain service vehicles and tools.
- Up-to-date knowledge of product information and technical know-how.
