ABB is seeking a Service Sales Engineer in Jakarta, Indonesia to drive sales of products, systems, and the entire service portfolio. This hybrid role involves penetrating the installed base, generating service sales opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in LV & MV Switchgear and a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of products/systems/entire service portfolio.
  • Extracts information on existing installed base (IB) and records recommended services.
  • Generates service sales opportunities and secures profitable sales.
  • Focuses on installed base penetration supporting Life Cycle Management (LCM).
  • Sells the entire Service portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units.
  • Builds long-term customer relationships and responds to customer needs and issues.
  • Penetrates IB, promoting various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions.
  • Understands channel strategy and related prices, prepares sales plans, and proposes recovery plans.
  • Generates service sales leads and develops new market opportunities.
  • Acts as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree Electrical Engineering is preferable.
  • Highly sales driven.
  • Hands-on service sales experience with at least 3-5 years working in LV & MV Switchgear.
  • Strong understanding of LV and MV switchgear products and systems.
  • Team player and able to coordinate with various team functions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • At ease communicating in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
